DaimlerChrysler announces pricing for 2007 Nitro and Ram 3500

Windsor, Ontario – DaimlerChrysler has announced that pricing for the all-new 2007 Dodge Nitro will start at $23,290, while the 2007 Ram 3500 Chassis Cab will start at $28,995. The Nitro will have an additional destination charge of $1,200, while the Ram’s destination charge is $1,225.
Based on the Jeep Liberty, the Dodge Nitro goes on sale this fall and includes a choice of two V6 engines, two- or four-wheel drive, standard or automatic transmission, fold-flat front passenger seat, folding second-row seats, and the company’s Load ‘n Go cargo floor, which holds up to 182 kg and slides 457 mm rearward for easy loading and unloading. Standard features include electronic stability program, anti-lock brakes, electronic roll mitigation and side curtain airbags. The Nitro will be available in four trim lines, ranging from the SE at $23,290 to the R/T at $32,390; the vehicle is built in Toledo, Ohio.
The Ram 3500 Chassis Cab includes gasoline or diesel V8 engine, two- or four-wheel drive, regular or Quad Cab configuration, single- or dual-wheel versions and PTO capability. Prices will range from $28,995 to $44,655.
