Chrysler’s Ralph Gilles wins “Innovation Award”
New York, New York – Ralph Gilles, lead designer of the Dodge Charger, Dodge Magnum and Chrysler 300, won the “Innovation Award” from NV (New Visions in Business) Magazine for his creative vision, leadership and community achievements. More than 500 guests celebrated the accomplishments of urban professionals and entrepreneurs at the third annual awards, held at New York’s Waldorf Astoria Hotel.
Gilles was praised by the NV selection committee for his creativity and leadership of the Chrysler Group design team, as well as for regularly sharing his passion for automobile design with students, and for his desire to give back to the community. He was one of ten people who received awards; others included Adrian E. Bracy, Vice President of Finance for the St. Louis Rams, and author Farrah Gray.
