St. John’s, Newfoundland – Chrysler’s three-car SRT team has raised close to $26,000 for the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador at Targa Newfoundland.

The funds raised will help provide services and programs to individuals and families in the province affected by autism. Pledges can still be made online at Autism.NF.

“We are pleased to have raised close to $26,000 to help the Autism Society of Newfoundland and Labrador,” said Ralph Gilles, president and CEO of the SRT Brand. “Targa gave us the perfect proving grounds to test our SRT products in some of the most extreme conditions and our winning results this past week are a great testament to the quality, high performance and robustness of our Chrysler Group products.”

Gilles finished in second place in the Modern Category with a production Dodge Viper SRT10; Rob Pacione won the Open Category in a Dodge Challenger SRT 392 with crate engine and Mopar Performance exhaust; and George Notaras drove a production Challenger SRT 392 to a ninth-place finish in the Grand Touring Category.
