Chrysler recalls 4,000 Durangos

Auburn Hills, Michigan – The Chrysler Group will recall a small number of 2004 Dodge Durango vehicles to repair, free-of-charge, a component on the instrument cluster integrated circuit board. An internal investigation determined that the component, which acts as a filter, may have been damaged during assembly and could potentially cause the circuit to overheat. While there have been no customer complaints on this issue, the 4,000 customers affected are being notified to have their vehicles repaired as a precautionary measure.
