Auburn Hills, Michigan – The Walter P. Chrysler Museum in Auburn Hills, Michigan will showcase a number of specialty exhibitions this year, including several rare vehicles that it will present in “Unique Vehicle Pairs.”
The Unique Vehicle Pairs will include two Chrysler concepts or modified vehicles on the Museum’s second floor. In conjunction, the newly-launched Collector’s Curb will spotlight a spectacular vehicle on loan from a private owner in celebration of his or her car club. The vehicle will be exhibited with an array of personal memorabilia in the Museum’s Boss Chrysler’s Garage.
The exhibition vehicles will include:
Modern Elegance – March 1-April 24, 2011 – Unique Pairs of 1999 Chrysler 300C Convertible and 2008 Chrysler Hollywood Concepts; Collector’s Curb is 1957 Imperial Crown Sedan
Edgy Rides – April 26-June 26, 2011 – Unique Pairs of 1998 Plymouth Spyder and 2004 Dodge Slingshot Concepts; Collector’s Curb is 2002 Chrysler Prowler
The Future Is Now – June 28-August 28, 2011 – Unique Pairs of 1993 Chrysler 300 and 1993 Chrysler Thunderbolt Concepts; Collector’s Curb is 1950 Nash Ambassador Sportsman Camper
Powerful & Mighty – August 30-October 30, 2011 – Unique Pairs of 1999 Dodge Power Wagon and 2006 Dodge Rampage Concepts; Collector’s Curb is 1967 Plymouth “Silver Bullit”
Little Packages – November 1-December 30, 2011 – Unique Pairs of 2006 Dodge Hornet and 2008 Dodge Demon Concepts; Collector’s Curb is 1960 Metropolitan Convertible
