Chrysler makes marketing deal with Martha Stewart

Auburn Hills, Michigan – Chrysler and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. have announced an extensive multimedia marketing program.

Chrysler will be the sole automotive advertiser in the new “Road Trips” section of Martha Stewart Living magazine, which reaches 13.9 million readers each month. The theme of the 12-page pullout in the April issue is “Family Fun.” Private gardens and nature trips are highlighted in the May issue. There will be different travel-related themes through the year.

“This partnership is truly an integrated marketing program. It is much more than a media buy,” said MSO EVP and Publisher Suzanne Sobel. The program includes sweepstakes, tips and advice on driving safety and invitation-only events.

In addition to Martha Stewart Living magazine, “Road Trips” content also will be delivered to consumers through MSO’s Martha Stewart Living syndicated television program, the “ask Martha” Radio Show, and marthastewart.com website.

Additionally:

  • Running exclusively in Martha Stewart Living magazine this month and again in the October issue is “A Watch, Click, and Win Sweepstakes.” The grand prize is a five-day getaway for two to three venues: MSO television studios in Westport, Conneticut, two nights at an upscale New York City hotel, and two nights at a rustic bed-and-breakfast. The grand prize also includes use of a Chrysler vehicle, and a three-piece set of linen luggage from Martha by Mail.

  • Owners of Chrysler brand vehicles, prospective customers and MSO customers will be invited to a number of Road Trip events co-hosted by the Chrysler brand and MSO around the country. These events will be attended by Martha Stewart and MSO experts.
