Auburn Hills, Michigan – The Chrysler Group has officially launched production of the all-new Chrysler Sebring sedan at its Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Michigan. The production follows an investment of US$500 million for plant upgrades to Flexible Manufacturing Strategy, which provides the ability to manufacture multiple products on one assembly line.
The all-new Sebring will be available in the fourth quarter of 2006, and will move into global sales in the first half of 2007.
