Windsor, Ontario – Chrysler has announced the Mopar ’10 Dodge Challenger, the first time it has launched a special-edition Mopar version of one of its vehicles. The Mopar ’10, a 2010 Dodge Challenger, will go on sale next month.
The Mopar ’10 will start at $41,390 with an automatic transmission, and $43,390 for a six-speed manual tradition. The model includes over $9,000 in Mopar accessories for $5,995, the company said.
The model is based on the 5.7-litre Hemi V8 engine and includes hood-venting system, cold-air intake, front strut tower brace with shock caps, unique engine cover, and rear strut tower brace. It will be available in Brilliant Black with a choice of three accent colours, Mopar Blue, Red or Silver, which will appear on the side stripes and in the steering wheel and seat stitching.
Also included are 20-inch gloss-black wheels, black-chromed grille surround, functional vented T/A-style hood with vintage hood pins, Mopar logos and graphics, and a special Mopar ’10 car cover.
Each car will come with a special owner’s kit that includes a certificate with the VIN, date of build completion and build number, plus a limited-edition sketch of the vehicle, a book highlighting the special vehicle build, and Mopar ’10 merchandise.
