On certain vehicles, the windshield, liftgate glass and side stationary glass may not be properly secured to the body, due to incorrect primer used during the installation process. As a result, the windshield may not be retained during a crash. Dealers will replace the windshield, liftgate and side stationary glass.

2000-2004 Mercedes-Benz CL-Class
2000-2004 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

Vehicles affected: 882

On certain vehicles equipped with eight-cylinder engines, corrosion may occur in the inner steel portions of the Active Body Control’s high-pressure distribution hose, due to extensive exposure to humidity. This may result in hydraulic fluid leakage near the catalytic converter, which could cause a fire. Dealers will install a corrosion-resistant high-pressure hose.

2007 Lincoln Town Car
Vehicles affected: 44

On certain vehicles, improper heat treatment of the front hub assemblies may allow the development of a circumferential crack on the roll-formed end of the hub when vehicle loading is applied. This could result in axial movement of the wheel, causing front end noise and steering wheel shudder, and the potential for wheel detachment and/or loss. Dealers will inspect and, if required, replace the front hub assemblies.
