Oshawa, Ontario – The all-new Chevrolet Cruze will start at $14,995 when it arrives in Canadian dealerships this October. The company said that it is designed to deliver segment-leading attributes, including best-in-class fuel consumption and safety, along with the industry’s first-ever mobile applications through OnStar.
The Cruze will offer two four-cylinder engines, naturally-aspirated and turbocharged, both paired with six-speed transmissions. At launch, the 2011 Cruze will be offered in LS, LT Turbo and LTZ Turbo models, followed by a high-efficiency LT Eco model available later this year.
The Cruze LS, at $14,995, includes a 1.8-litre Ecotec engine and six-speed manual transmission, along with ten airbags, electronic stability and traction control, power rear-door child safety locks, keyless entry and driver information centre with oil life monitor.
The Cruze LT Turbo, starting at $19,495, uses a 1.4-litre Ecotec turbocharged engine with six-speed automatic transmission, and includes air conditioning, 16-inch wheels, heated mirrors, and XM satellite radio. At $24,780, the LTZ Turbo also includes heated leather seats, automatic climate control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, Bluetooth, USB port, remote vehicle starter, 17-inch wheels and rear parking assist.
Available options will include a navigation system with 40-gigabyte hard drive, premium Pioneer audio system, power sunroof, and RS Appearance Package with rocker mouldings, fog lamps, rear spoiler, sport chassis and unique fascias.
