Fountain Valley, California – CarMD Vehicle Health System, a portable tool that helps consumers diagnose problem codes with their vehicles and research the cost of repairs, is now available in Canada.
The system can be purchased online at MyCarMD for $119.85.
“After substantial demand from the Canadian market, we are pleased to finally make the CarMD product and information available to drivers throughout Canada,” said Art Jacobsen, vice-president of CarMD. “CarMD is committed to offering our customers the most precise information to diagnose and repair car problems. We offer so much more than just a gadget. The true value of CarMD is in the vast database that provides our customers with the most statistically valid fix, down to parts and labour costs in their postal code.”
The kit includes a handheld device, Mac/PC software, USB cable, batteries, caddy, and lifetime software and firmware updates. It works on all 1996 and newer cars, trucks, vans and SUVs manufactured for use in North America, whether imported or domestic.
Using the vehicle’s on-board diagnostic port, CarMD uncovers hidden problems and diagnoses check engine light issues. Through CarMD’s database, drivers can also find out if their cars have safety issues or recalls. When repairs are required, the system explains what’s wrong and what it will take to fix it, including parts and labour costs in the driver’s region.
