Windsor, Ontario – A team from the Windsor Ontario Tuning Forum has been accepted into the 24 Hours of LeMon, a race series restricted to vehicles that have been purchased, repaired and prepped for the event for less than US$500.

The team will compete in the “Lamest Day” event in Nelson Ledges, Ohio on October 3 and 4, 2009. The team said it believes it is the only Canadian entry in the race.

Using the theme “Being Canadian,” the team will drive a 1995 four-cylinder Dodge Stratus; according to the team members, they will “show our competitors from down South what Canada is all aboot: maple syrup, Mounties, back bacon, igloos, Kraft Dinner, whisky, beaver, and beer that can make you drunk.”
