Mini launches “virtual outdoor” advertising in video games

Whitby, Ontario – Mini Canada has announced the launch of a new, interactive advertising campaign the company says is the first of its kind in Canada. Mini “virtual outdoor” advertising now appears in many online video games until November 26; the ads are embedded into the landscape of 23 popular video games.
The ads are part of a larger marketing campaign to launch two new Mini Special Editions, the Mini Cooper with Soho Package and Mini Cooper S with Rallye Package. The campaign will include national radio advertising, online streaming video ad-units, search engine marketing, online banner ads, showroom posters, and videos available on www.mini.ca.
