Canadian company supplies dashboard material for 2003 Honda Accord

Cambridge, Ontario – Canadian General-Tower Limited, a leading supplier of automotive interior materials, announced it is supplying Honda of America Mfg. with an environmentally friendly Thermoplastic Polyolefin coverstock for Honda’s all-new 2003 Accord.

CGT is providing a top-skin for the instrument panel on all versions of the Accord model, the best-selling vehicle in the United States during 2001. CGT already supplies a TPO instrument panel coverstock for the current Honda Civic.

“Canadian General-Tower is working with some of the most successful companies in the auto industry to introduce environmentally friendly TPO technology as quickly as possible,” said Jan Chaplin, CGT’s CEO and President. “Like Honda, we are committed to superior quality and supplying a TPO product for the Accord, America’s top-selling vehicle, is a great achievement for the company and our employees.”
