Camry, Accord, Civic most stolen cars in U.S.

Palos Hills, Illinois – The National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB), a not-for-profit insurance organization with a mandate to combat vehicle theft and insurance fraud, has released a list of the top ten most stolen vehicles in the United States in 2002 (the most recent statistics available).

Popular sedans, like the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord and Honda Civic are attractive targets to thieves, says the report. “Thieves target a wide range of popular passenger vehicles, often seeking valuable parts from older model year vehicles for sale on the black market.”
