Camp Jeep makes its first trek to China

Beijing, China – Chrysler’s Camp Jeep off-road event made its maiden trek in China last weekend, as more than 2,000 Chinese enthusiasts in 600 Jeeps tested their capability in mud and over obstacles in northern Beijing. The three-day event also included music, food, rock climbing, all-terrain vehicles and other outdoor activities.

The Camp Jeep in Shunyi is based on the same format as those held in the U.S. and Europe; built by professionals of America Camp Jeep, it covers a total area of 50,000 square metres.

Jeep recently launched its Commander, Grand Cherokee and Compass models in China.
