Cadillac and Honda top AutoPacific brand satisfaction
Tustin, California – The 2006 Vehicle Satisfaction Award (VSA) study released by automotive consulting firm AutoPacific Inc. shows Cadillac tops in the premium/luxury brand field, while Honda is highest in mainstream brands.
Cadillac finished above second-place Lexus, with its CTS rated top entry luxury car, and solid performance by the rest of its line-up. The Lexus LS430 was named top luxury car, but the company overall rated just below Cadillac.
Honda vehicles took two category wins, with the Ridgeline named top sport utility truck and the Odyssey named top minivan. Hyundai placed second in the mainstream brand category, with its Azera named top car overall and top large car, and the Santa Fe the top-rated mid-size SUV.
AutoPacific had previously announced individual winners, with the Lincoln Navigator taking top luxury SUV, top truck and top vehicle; the highest-rated car was the Hyundai Azera.
