Thornhill, Ontario – CAA South Central Ontario (CAASCO) will open its own repair facility in Orangeville, northwest of Toronto, which will be open to CAA members and to the public.

The new CAA-owned Car Care Centre will be located at 109 County Road in Orangeville, and is the ninth CAA-owned Car Care Centre purchased this year. The location was previously known as Orangeville Auto Pro.

To date, CAA has launched Car Car Centres in Ontario in Kitchener, Waterloo, Stratford, Listowel, Milton, Georgetown, Scarborough (Toronto) and Peterborough. CAASCO hopes to launch 20 by 2011.

“Our members deserve quality and trusted service when it comes to their automotive needs,” said Teddy Chien, vice-president of business development. “This acquisition is a natural extension of our roadside assistance and automotive service, and will allow CAA to provide a full complement of car-care needs to any member.”

Repairs at CAA facilities are guaranteed for one year or 20,000 kilometres under a parts and labour warranty. In addition, CAA members will earn three per cent in CAA dollars on parts and labour for each repair.
