Buzz Hargrove reelected as CAW president

Vancouver, British Columbia – The Canadian Auto Workers Union (CAW) has elected Buzz Hargrove to a new term as president of the 265,000-member union. The new term will last three years; Hargrove was first elected CAW president in 1992.

All three of the top elected positions within the union were filled by incumbents; in addition to Hargrove, Jim O’Neil returns as national secretary-treasurer, while Luc Desnoyers returns as CAW-TCA Quebec director.
