Laval, Quebec – Buses have the right-of-way in Greater Montreal, and the police and public transit services are joining their efforts to remind motorists of this.

The Highway Safety Code stipulates that after buses have taken on or dropped off passengers, they have the right-of-way when they want to re-enter the lane in which they were travelling.

A campaign to remind motorists will run until December 17, with signs posted on the back of the bus and on bus shelters.
