Shanghai, China – Less than a year after its launch in China, General Motors has sold 100,000 units of the new Buick LaCrosse, making it the fastest-growing member of China’s premium upper-medium sedan segment.

Priced at the equivalent of US$44,200, the 3.0-litre LaCrosse model accounted for nearly 80 per cent of the sedan segment.

In China, the model has received several awards, including the 2009 China Car of the Year and the 2009 Champion Car of the Year.
