Ottawa, Ontario – Transport Canada has released its latest recalls, which may affect some Buick, Cadillac and Jeep models.

2011 Buick LaCrosse
2011 Cadillac SRX
Vehicles affected: 568
On certain vehicles, software in the electronic climate control (ECC) module may disable the ability to adjust the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system. If this happens, the driver will not be able to control the heating, cooling or ventilation of the vehicle. Dealers will reprogram the ECC module.

2010-2011 Jeep Wrangler
Vehicles affected: 1,270
On certain vehicles, the fastener torque for various front and rear axles may degrade over time due to variability in the axle painting process. This could result in noise or cause a degradation in the vehicle’s steering and handling characteristics. Dealers will retorque 19 fasteners to specifications.
