The package includes a 3.0 litre in-line six-cylinder engine with different intake and exhaust camshafts and performance-modified Digital Motor Electronics, yielding a 10 horsepower increase to 235 and a 8 ft/lb increase to 222 ft/lb of torque. The transmission has been changed to a six-speed manual as a standard feature, with a short-throw shifter and a shorter final drive ratio. Interior modifications include cloth and Alcantara sport seats for additional support, as well as, the addition of an M Sport Steering Wheel wrapped in Alcantara anthracite; an anthracite roofliner and black or silver cube aluminum trim; instrumentation featuring red needles and the tachometer, which reflects the modified engine’s 300 higher rpm limit.
The first cars will be in dealers this month.
