Bentley promotes ‘Crewe Genuine Parts’
Crewe, England – Bentley Motors has launched a new parts and service programme, ‘Crewe Genuine Parts’, offering availability of original parts and service expertise for Crewe-built Bentley and Rolls-Royce cars via Bentley’s 140 authorised dealers around the world.
A specially designed logo, which reinforces the authenticity and origin of the parts, draws on the typeface currently used on the engine cover of all cars manufactured at Crewe. The transition to the new logo will commence with the adoption of simplified parts packaging which will feature both the ‘Crewe Genuine Parts’ logo and the recently launched new Bentley Corporate Identity.
Commenting on the launch of ‘Crewe Genuine Parts,’ Julian Jenkins, after sales marketing manager for Bentley Motors said: ” This initiative is an important step in supporting our Rolls-Royce customers and our dealer network in the future. ‘Crewe Genuine Parts’ will continue to be made to the same standards and specification as the original Rolls-Royce components, and will be available through our Bentley Authorised Dealer Network.”
From January 1st, 2003 onwards, Crewe will be the exclusive home of Bentley Motors, and responsibility for Rolls-Royce motor cars will move to BMW AG. At midnight on December 31st 2002 the famous marque will say farewell to Crewe leaving behind an extraordinary 56 year legacy. For existing and future customers of Crewe built cars, all parts and service requirements for both Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars will continue to be available via Bentley’s global dealer network.
