Bentley Azure unveiled at Frankfurt Motor Show
Frankfurt, Germany – Bentley Motors has unveiled the production version of its new Azure at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The luxurious four-seater, which goes on sale in Spring 2006, is the company’s latest convertible.
The Azure is the production version of the Arnage Drophead Coupe show car, which premiered at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January 2005. Public opinion was strong enough that Bentley quickly decided to continue the car’s development in time for 2006 delivery. The new Azure will become the company’s flagship model; it features a 450 hp version of the Arnage’s 6.7-litre twin-turbocharged intercooled V8 engine, which produces 645 lb-ft of torque.
