Bentley announces Continental GT convertible

Crewe, England – Bentley has announced the introduction of the Continental GTC, a luxury 2+2 convertible that will join the company’s line-up of the Continental GT and Continental Flying Spur. The new convertible will go on sale in late 2006.

The GTC will feature a 12-cylinder engine, an all-wheel drive system, an air suspension and ultra-stiff body structure. It will also use a soft fabric roof with heated glass rear screen, and hide-covered tonneau. The GTC will have a top speed of 304 km/h.

The GTC becomes Bentley’s second convertible in the current range, following the Azure four-seat convertible which will be sold in Spring, 2006. Prices will be available closer to the vehicle’s launch.
