BCAA to hold 69th Annual General Meeting in Kelowna, B.C.

Vancouver, B.C.- The British Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA) looks forward to meeting its Okanagan members at its 69th Annual General Meeting, being held for the first time in Kelowna on March 21, 7:30 p.m, at the Grand Okanagan Resort and Conference Centre.

The BCAA represents over 715,000 members in B.C. and the Yukon, with the Okanagan region home to the third largest member population. Twenty per cent of Okanagan region residents are BCAA members, which is the highest member to population ratio of any region in the province.

The AGM presents BCAA members with an opportunity to meet their Board of Directors, senior management and Okanagan employees, and hear about the association’s successes, challenges and future direction. Before and after the formal meeting, members will also be able to visit various exhibits to learn more about their association’s advocacy initiatives and many of the products and services BCAA offers. Exhibits open at 6:30 p.m., and will offer members travel, insurance, membership and road assist-related information and advice.

As part of BCAA’s continued commitment to road safety, BCAA’s Traffic Safety Foundation, BCAA/ICBC’s Child Passenger Safety Program and 55 Alive/Mature Driving Program will be featured as well. The formal portion of the meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.
