BCAA offers reflective arm bands for Halloween

Victoria, B.C. – The BCAA Traffic Safety Foundation has launched a fund-raising campaign that will improve traffic and pedestrian safety, particularly for children on Halloween.

The Foundation is selling reflective safety bands that can be snapped
easily around an arm or wrist so walkers, joggers and cyclists are more
visible at night. Net proceeds from the sale of the “Snap-it” safety bands,
which sell for $10, will help fund the Foundation’s school safety patrols.

“A great way to keep non-vehicle road users safe is to help drivers see
them in plenty of time, especially in the dark,” Foundation executive director
