Vancouver, British Columbia – The 13th annual B.C. Classic & Custom Car Show will run on April 25 and 26 at the Tradex Convention Centre in Abbotsford, featuring more than 250 vehicles.

Sponsored by Lucas Oil Products of Canada, the show will include hot rods, muscle cars, classics, customs and race cars, along with numerous unveilings of custom car creations by some of Western Canada’s most talented car crafts. More than 30 car clubs will be represented, along with 70 commercial displays from some of B.C.’s top automotive aftermarket companies.

Continuing with the theme of “Cars, Stars & Guitars,” the show will include appearances by George Barris, known as the “King of Kustomizers”, and Chip Foose, who will display his “Hemisfear” custom street rod. Both will be on hand for the entire weekend signing autographs, posing for photos, and selling exclusive Barris Kustoms and Foose Design brand merchandise.

The live motorsport demonstration has been expanded for 2009 to include a four-class Race Kart exhibition, hosted by the Westwood Karting Association, plus a “Fuel and Fire” event with nitromethane-powered nostalia fuel cars, and the “Burner Bang Shootout” of jet engine-powered Funny Cars.

The show runs Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with tickets available at the door. For more information, visit BCCustomCarShow.
