Barrett-Jackson Auction Company expands in Europe
Scottsdale, Arizona – Barrett-Jackson Auction Company announced that it will be expanding its presence in Europe with two new classic car auctions. The events, to be held in Essen, Germany and at Le Mans in France, will be conducted in association with the London based auction house, Coy’s of Kensington.
The Essen Auction of Fine Motor Cars will be held on April 5th/6th, 2002, in conjunction with the 14th Annual Techno-Classica Essen, April 4th through 7th, 2002. This World Fair for Vintage & Classic Cars features over 2000 display cars, 820 exhibitors from 15 countries, and attracts over 100,000 visitors.
The auction at Le Mans in France will be held on September 21st & 22nd, 2002 in conjunction with inaugural 24 Hours of Le Mans Classique. This is the first time a race event of this type has been held on the historic circuit and promises to be the most significant historic motor racing event of the year.
Scottsdale based Barrett-Jackson Auction Company and Coy’s of Kensington have a long standing relationship, and will again be conducting their second Monaco “Legende et Passion” auction on May 17th 2002 at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco during the bi-annual Monaco Historic Car Races event.
