B.C. Wal-Mart team wins national Lube Rodeo

Toronto, Ontario – Surrey, British Columbia Wal-Mart team members claimed victory in Brampton Ontario at the second annual National Lube Rodeo Championship. Team “Delta Force” will represent Canada On October 2nd when they fly to Bentonville, Arkansas to compete against the top 15 U.S. teams at the North American Lube Rodeo Finals.

Each team consisted of four team members and one team leader. Team members competed head-to-head on lube, oil-change, and other car care skills and procedures. Each team was timed and judged on proper procedure and manner.

The competition brought together nine teams from all over Canada – Westhill, Ontario; Valleyfield, Quebec City; Pembroke, Ontario; Cornwall, Ontario; Red Deer, Alberta; Prince George, British Columbia; Surrey, British Columbia; Sudbury, Ontario and Oakville, Ontario.

Over $10,000 was raised at the event in support of the Children’s Miracle Network thanks to Wal-Mart, Pennzoil, Energizer, Gatorade, Goodyear, Armor All and ADG Forward.
