Livonia, Michigan – Roush Performance has licenced Key West Ford of New Westminster, B.C. to build serialized Roush Mustangs for the Western provinces.
Key West Ford will be the exclusive licenced builder and distributor of Roush Mustangs built in British Columbia for distribution throughout B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The company will also take on the role of marketing and servicing other Ford dealers who wish to sell Roush vehicles in those provinces.
“There is a true performance culture in Canada,” said Joe Thompson, vice-president and general manager of Roush Performance. “We have a lot of participating Ford dealers that just needed a more convenient process for getting their Roush Mustang built and delivered. We spent several months going through vetting of our Canadian partners and are very pleased to be working with Key West Ford.”
The vehicles built by Key West Ford will have their serial numbers fall within the regular sequence of those built at Roush’s vehicle assembly plant in Livonia, Michigan. The Canadian vehicles will be counted in Roush’s year-end build tally.
Key West Ford is able to build the available line of 2010 Roush Mustangs, including the Stage 1, Stage 2, 427R, and 540RH. For information, visit Key West Ford.
