Victoria, British Columbia – Residents and visitors to British Columbia can now get even more information on the province’s most spectacular driving routes, thanks to an enhanced HelloBC Web site that increases the interactive options for maps.
“From a week-long trip along the historic Alaska highway or a tour of B.C.’s many hot springs, to a few hours in Armstrong farm country or a half-day tour of wine country in Oliver, our interactive driving maps offer something of interest for everyone,” said Kevin Krueger, Minister of Tourism, Culture and the Arts. “Dozens of great B.C. driving routes are featured, including circle tours and scenic drives involving more than 100 B.C. communities.”
The interactive maps include descriptions of route highlights, photos and videos, along with turn-by-turn driving instructions that can be printed or downloaded. Also available is the Near Me BC iPhone application, which determines the visitor’s location and presents nearby attractions, hotels and restaurants. For more information, visit HelloBC.
