Vancouver, British Columbia – The British Field Meet in Vancouver celebrates its silver anniversary this year, with more than 600 vehicles expected to attend the event in May 2010.
Presented by the Olde British & Classic Car Society, the show will be held May 22 at VanDusen Garden in Vancouver.
The show began in 1985, when 35 cars met in the parking lot of MCL Motor Cars in Vancouver. It is now one of the largest shows of its kind in Canada, with 637 vehicles and more than 5,000 enthusiasts attending.
Special attractions for the 2010 event will include a special display of winners from previous shows; a “Restoration Row” of vehicles in progress; a tribute to the E-Type Jaguar; a reception dinner and silent auction; a race car display; a period dress award; garden tours; and prize draws.
