AutoWeek names 2003 Nissan 350Z as ‘Most Significant’ global auto show vehicle
The all-new 2003 Nissan 350Z was recently named the ‘Most Significant’ vehicle by the editors of AutoWeek in their annual “Best of the Best” international auto show review (issue 4/8/02).
In honouring the new Z, judges agreed, “leave it to a performance-oriented bunch to identify the all new 350Z as a vehicle significant to the performance ethic and the corporate ethic.” The Z was one of four finalists selected by AutoWeek editors among the almost 80 all-new vehicles displayed at major auto shows in Tokyo, Geneva, Frankfurt and Detroit.
The 350Z is coming to dealerships this summer. It will have a 280-plus horsepower 3.5 litre DOHC V6, 4-wheel independent suspension and new 6-speed manual transmission with hydraulic clutch.
