Tokyo, Japan – Honda Motor Company has announced a contribution totalling approximately 23.3 million Japanese yen (JPY) to assist the Red Cross in providing shelter, relief and recovery support to those affected by the recent Myanmar Cyclone. Of the total, Honda Motor will contribute JPY 20 million through the Japanese Red Cross Society. Asian Honda Motor Company Limited, Honda’s Asian and Oceanic headquarters function located in Bangkok, will contribute approximately JPY 3.3 million through the Thai Red Cross Society.

Nissan also announced that it has pledged JPY 10 million to Japan Platform, a non-profit organization, to aid emergency relief efforts in Myanmar.
