Ingolstadt, Germany – Audi has presented the TT Clubsport Quattro concept vehicle, which takes the company’s sportscar to its purest form. Audi says it may consider a small-volume production run of the vehicle.
The TT Clubsport has a low, wraparound windshield in place of a hood and A-pillar, with flatter roll bars than the TT Roadster that are set at the same height as the seats. The front end uses a single-frame grille, while the stainless steel muffler is visible. The doors are sprung by remote control, while the exterior mirrors have been minimized.
Inside, instead of the middle round air vents, the Clubsport has a round sound system, while the instrument cluster has vertical needles and colour graphics. The car is powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI engine with turbocharger which makes over 300 hp. The Clubsport also sports the first use of ceramic brakes in a TT.
