Ingolstadt, Germany – Audi is injecting new power into its TT sports car. In future, the two 1.8 T engines will deliver 163 and 190 horsepower.
Performance has been improved, with Audi reporting acceleration times for the 190 hp version of zero to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds, with a top speed of 234 km/h, and the 163 hp version reaching a top speed of 224 km/h. Fuel consumption of all models remains unchanged.
The new engines will appear in both the coupe and roadster; the more powerful engine will be available with Quattro four-wheel-drive and a Tiptronic manual-shift transmission.
