Audi named Best New England Winter Vehicle

Boston, Massachusetts – The Audi A3 has been named the overall Best New England Winter Vehicle by the New England Motor Press. The association of automotive writers annually votes on the vehicles best suited to New England’s difficult winter weather. The A3 was described as “a sports car, a hatchback, a sizzler on the road, but stable and powerful enough to push through a foot of snow.”

Category winners were the Toyota Sienna (People Mover), Porsche 911 C4 (Sports Car), Hyundai Tucson (SUV under US$25,000), Ford Explorer (SUV over US$25,000), Lexus RX 400h (Luxury SUV), Mercedes-Benz S500 (Premium All-Weather Sedan), Volvo S60 (Premium All-Weather Sedan US$30,000-$50,000), Volvo XC70 (All-Weather Wagon), Ford Five Hundred (All-Weather Sedan Under US$30,000), Subaru B9 Tribeca (Crossover), Nissan Titan (Pickup Truck), Bentley Continental GT (Extreme Vehicle), and Suzuki Aerio (Value Award).
