The new Q7 will “combine sportiness and versatility, sophisticated technology and the luxury of a premium-class vehicle” Audi said in a relase issued yesterday.
the Q7 will seat seven passengers in a spacious interior with “no less than 28 seating and loading configurations.” Both rear seat rows can be folded flat to provide a load area of 2,035 litres if required, without the seats having to be removed. If used as a 5-seater the Q7 boasts a load capacity of 775 litres.
When the series is launched in Europe, two engines will be offered: a new 350 horsepower 4.2-litre V8 and a 233 hp 3.0 TDI six-cylinder engine. Both engine versions come with a 6-speed tiptronic automatic transmission.
Naturally, the Audi Q7 will be equipped with quattro permanent four-wheel drive.
The Q7 3.0 TDI will retail in Germany for 48,900 Euros.
