Gaydon, Warwickshire, England – Two British men set off from Tokyo yesterday in an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, aiming to become the first to cross the full extent of the Asia-Pacific Highway.

Richard Meredith and Phil Colley will end their trip in London’s Trafalgar Square, covering over 16,000 km through 16 countries, including South Korea and China. The trip will also bring attention to road safety, and raise money to increase road safety awareness among children in developing countries.

The trip, which is scheduled to finish on August 13, has attracted the support of the regional commission of the United Nations and a variety of international companies.
