Montreal, Quebec – The Automobile Protection Agency (APA) is investigating the validity of administration fees charged to drivers crossing the Highway 25 bridge between Laval and Montreal without having a valid transponder.

The fees are charged by Concession A25. The bridge opened in May 2011 and is part of the private-public Highway 25 partnership. The 1.2-kilometre bridge is equipped with a fully electronic toll system.

The APA is asking for people who have more information regarding the present matter or those who have used the bridge and had to pay administration fees of $3.00 or $5.00 to contact the APA at 514-272-5555 or at apamontreal@apa.ca. For more information, visit APA.
