Belcarra, British Columbia – Canadian antique-car hobbyists are welcome to visit a new forum by the National Association of Automobile Clubs Canada (NAACC). The association, which reaches approximately 450,000 enthusiasts for vehicles 20 years or older, is made up of clubs for antiques, customs, hot rods, tuner cars and racing.
The new forum is intended as a central place for auto enthusiasts to go for information and ask questions, the association said.
“This summer, Winnipeg car people had a confusing time with rumours arising from the frequent Winnipeg Police Service’s mobile inspections,” said Gordon Forman, Manitoba director for NAACC. “The rumours got way out of hand and no one had a source to check out what was happening. Hopefully, now they can go to this site and see what others are doing and ask their local representatives what the truths are.”
The forum is divided by provinces, so that posters can check on their own provinces or on others. Every time a post is made, the province’s director is notified and can respond if needed.
