New York, New York – Subaru has introduced the all-new 2012 Impreza at the New York International Auto Show. The company said it is the roomiest Impreza ever offered, with an all-new 2.0-litre engine and improved fuel economy.
The fourth-generation model is available as a four-door sedan or “five-door” hatchback, and uses a 2.0-litre horizontally-opposed engine with five-speed manual transmission or continuously variable transmission (CVT). Both body styles have all-new exterior and interior styling, a high level of interior refinement, and new features and technologies.
The new model will go on sale this summer and will offer the highest fuel efficiency of any all-wheel drive car in North America, Subaru said, with projected fuel efficiency ratings of 7.5 L/100 km in the city and 5.5 L/100 km on the highway.
