Alberta offers grants for recycled tire products

Edmonton, Alberta – The Alberta Recycling Management Authority (ARMA) has announced that municipalities and registered non-profit community groups and organizers are eligible to apply for a maximum of $25,000 in grants for the incorporation of recycled tire products into value-added community projects such as playgrounds, parks, buildings and walkways.

ARMA is the organization responsible for managing Alberta’s successful Tire Recycling Program. Since 2000, nearly $3.5 million has been returned to Alberta communities, funding 214 projects in 152 communities.
