39 GM special vehicles to be sold at Barrett-Jackson’s Palm Beach auction

Scottsdale, Arizona – Barrett-Jackson Auction Company today announced it has
received from General Motors a confirmed list of the 39 Special Vehicles that are to
be sold at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction – Palm Beach Auction, March
19-21 at the South Florida Fairgrounds in West Palm Beach, Florida.

The cars, all of which will be sold at No Reserve, include a number of Indy 500 and
Daytona 500 Pace Cars, which were driven by the 1963 Indy 500 winner Parnelli Jones,
legendary pilot Chuck Yeager and Tonight Show host Jay Leno. Additional cars include
one of only two Tiger Woods-inspired Buick Rendezvous Tour Edition special show
cars; a 1985 Camaro IROC signed by Live Aid Concert performers Ozzy Osbourne, Tom
Petty, Teddy Pendegrass, the Beach Boys and others; a hot-pink 2000 Chevrolet
Cavalier Z24 Coupe Concept designed by award-winning clothing designer Betsey
Johnson; a one-a-kind 1999 GMC Sierra Concept Vehicle designed by fashion designer
Joseph Abboud; and a unique selection of other GM Show Cars, Concept and Development
Vehicles, Race Cars and Support Vehicles.

The Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction – Palm Beach, set for March 19-21, will
feature an estimated 400 cars on consignment that represent a broad cross section of
American and European classic and sports cars as well as custom-built hot rods and
rare muscle cars. More than 70 percent of all the cars cosigned to the Palm beach
auction will be sold at ‘No Reserve.’

The auction, which will be broadcast live on SPEED Channel, runs 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.,
Friday, March 19; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday, March 20; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.,
Sunday, March 21.
