22nd annual Vancouver All British Field Meet classic car show on tomorrow

Vancouver, British Columbia – The 22nd annual All British Field Meet classic car show and swap meet takes place tomorrow, Saturday May 19th at VanDusen Gardens at 37th and Oak street in Vancouver.

This year, organizers expect more than 580 cars and bikes and more than 5000 people to attend. Most of the vehicles are locally owned but more than one hundred will come from the U.S. and Alberta to take part in the day’s activities.

Cars are arranged in individual classes according to marque with a total of 53 marques displaying ranging from big classic Rolls Royce to the small nimble Lotus and MG’s. This year’s featured marques are Aston Martin and the “Bugeye” Austin Healey Sprite. A record number are expected to show.

The event is organized by The Olde British Car Society in cooperation with local car clubs. The one-day event goes from 10:00 am to 4.30 pm with brass band entertainment, a food concession, vendors, and a chance to win a ZOOM Airlines trip for two to Britain with your $12.00 ticket entry.
