Seven passenger seating and Pathfinder-like styling makes its way to Nissan’s compact crossover
When the new-for-2014 Nissan Rogue hits dealer lots in December, base model S trim front-wheel drive models will get a starting price of $23,498 plus freight and PDI.
“When the Rogue was introduced in 2008, it redefined the compact SUV market by addressing both the functional and emotional needs of the buyers while offering great value,” said Brian Thomas, Director of Marketing, Nissan Canada Inc. “Improving on that wasn’t easy but we’ve succeeded by adding more emotion with bold and premium styling, more functionality with advanced technology and optional third row, and more value with class-leading fuel economy and a lower MSRP than the outgoing model.”
The new Rogue features Nissan’s Divide-N-Hide cargo system, seven-passenger seating, and more aggressive styling in-line with the new Nissan Pathfinder.
Fuel economy ratings for the new Rogue have improved: 6.0/7.9/7.1 (hwy/city/combined L/100km) for front-wheel drive CVT models and 8.2/6.2/7.3 for all-wheel drive models.
