Torrance, California – The 2012 Acura TL has made its debut at the Chicago Auto Show. The new model has refined styling, a new six-speed automatic transmission and upgraded technology.
“The 2012 Acura TL is refined yet aggressive,” said Jeff Conrad, vice-president of Acura sales. “Already known for its great performance, the enhanced TL has a sophisticated new look and an all-new six-speed automatic transmission that will take performance to the next level.”
The TL includes a redesigned front bumper and grille, updated headlights and turn signals, new fog lamp design and shorter front overhang. At the rear, a new bumper incorporates a repositioned license plate opening and smaller rear reflectors, along with updated taillights and thinner rear trunk edge trim.
For 2012, the TL will be available as a 280-horsepower front-wheel drive model, and a 305-horsepower model with Acura’s Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. The performance 6MT model will continue to be offered in the TH SH-AWD lineup.
