Toronto, Ontario – Toyota Canada announced that the 2010 Matrix and 2010 Corolla, which are already on sale, will include electronic stability control as standard equipment on most models.
The 2010 Matrix XR and Matrix AWD join the Matrix XRS model in featuring Toyota’s Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) and traction control (TRAC) as standard equipment. Both are also available on the base Matrix equipped with the Touring Package.
The 2010 Corolla S and Corolla LE models join the Corolla XRS in including Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) as standard equipment. VSC is also available on Corolla CE models equipped with the Enhanced Convenience Package.
2010 Matrix and Corolla MSRPs have increased by two to four per cent: the 2010 Matrix has a base price of $16,300 (up from $15,975), the XR starts at $20,240 (up from $19,450), the AWD at $23,360 (up from $22,600), and the XRS at $25,940 (up from $25,490). The 2010 Corolla CE starts at $15,160 (up from $14,835), the S at $19,985 (up from $19,200), LE at $20,865 (up from $20,170), and XRS at $22,250 (up from $21,925).
